Attorney

From the beginnings of Mark Sewall as a paper mill worker and small engine assembler on Wisconsin assembly lines, his road to becoming a partner at Sigman, Janssen, Sewall, Pitz & Burkham was long and winding. However, it was those early work experiences that gave him a unique insight into workers’ compensationdisability, and insurance laws—which are now his primary areas of concentration as an attorney.

Mark grew up with nine siblings in Neenah, Wisconsin, and he’s a 1987 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Philosophy, summa cum laude. After a five-year stint working in the local factories, he chose to attend the University of Wisconsin Law School, where he received his Juris Doctorate in 1990.

Practicing law gives Mark a chance to get to know his clients on a personal level, and this connection carries over into the passion he has for representing the people who depend on him. It’s his priority to make sure his clients are never left in the dark about the status of their cases, and he makes every effort to return phone calls within 24 hours.

Outside of the office, Mark enjoys reading—particularly biographies—and he can often be found at the movies or out riding his bike. He’s also a travel-lover, having vacationed in Europe many times. His dream is to see the beaches in Normandy, France.
