Amy Frank has been assisting Attorney Mark Sewall on worker’s compensation cases since 1994. With so many years of experience she is extremely knowledgeable and familiar with the entire claims process. She enjoys assisting clients through every step of their claim and loves the satisfaction that comes with helping clients get the benefits they deserve after being injured on the job.
Amanda Kroiss was raised in Sherwood, WI, to which she has recently returned. Amanda began her education at the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay, studying democracy and justice before deciding to enlist in the Wisconsin Army National Guard as a Paralegal Specialist. Amanda began working for Sigman Janssen in 2018 as Legal Assistant to Attorney James P. Pitz. She assists him with personal injury cases, including auto accident, dog bite, wrongful death, and slip and fall. She enjoys gathering case information and working with clients to answer any questions they have about their claims.
Amanda continues to serve in the Wisconsin Army National Guard as the Paralegal for the 1-105th Cavalry Regiment, providing support in such areas as criminal law, family law, international law, contract law, and fiscal law.
Sarah Jansen joined Sigman, Janssen, Sewall, Pitz & Burkham in December 2004 after graduating with high honors from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College with an associate degree in paralegal studies. She also received an associate degree in Criminal Justice in May 2003 from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.
Sarah helps Attorney Christopher Evenson with collection and adoption cases. She takes great pride in assisting our clients in any way possible, and she brings a high level of enthusiasm and dedication to the team every day.
Laura began working at the firm in June of 2001 as a legal assistant, after receiving an Associate Degree from Fox Valley Technical College. Since her employment with the firm, Laura has worked for Attorney Mark Sewall assisting in personal injury and worker’s compensation matters. Laura enjoys working with clients in the many aspects of their claims, from gathering information, reviewing medical records, preparing documents, and disbursing settlement funds. It is important to Laura that clients understand the process of their claims, and she is always willing to help with any questions they may have.
Rick Bellmore joined Sigman, Janssen, Sewall, Pitz & Burkham in April 1998. A certified public accountant, he has five primary areas of responsibility in his role as the law firm’s operations manager: finance, personnel, insurance, building and grounds, and computer/network administration. In addition to his duties, he’s dedicated to helping our attorneys and staff with anything they need to provide our clients with the best possible service.
Kimberly Maynard has been with Sigman, Janssen, Sewall, Pitz & Burkham since September 2017. Since then, she has worked for several Attorney’s in all areas of law including, Personal Injury, Family Law, Estate Planning and Social Security Disability. She currently supports attorney Ana Burkham with Social Security Disability. Kimberly enjoys helping clients stay at ease during the process of their claim. In her free time, Kim likes to go camping, have cookouts and bonfires with her family and friends.
Reese Tuinstra graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay. She joined the team at Sigman, Janssen, Sewall, Pitz & Burkham in October 2018 as a legal assistant.
Reese assists multiple attorneys as needed, frequently taking calls from potential clients regarding their worker’s compensation case details prior to consultation with Attorney Mark Sewall. Reese also works with Attorney James Pitz in gathering and preparing documents for submission to insurance companies for the eventual settlement of personal injury cases.
Abbie started at Sigman Janssen in August 2016 working for Attorney Jim Pitz assisting with personal injury cases. Abbie works closely with clients to understand their injuries and medical treatment. She helps clients understand what to expect during their representation as the case proceeds through the entire process. Abbie truly enjoys coming to work every day and working closely with her co-workers throughout these cases. Abbie has an Associate’s Degree from Fox Valley Technical College, graduating in December 2012.
In her free time, Abbie enjoys being with family, watching her favorite shows on tv, practicing yoga, going for an evening run, grabbing a coffee with friends, shopping and traveling her favorite vacation spots. Abbie is born and raised in the Fox Cities and loves calling this area home.
Alicia Higgins was born and raised in the Fox Valley, but currently resides in Saxeville, WI. She began working for Sigman Janssen in 2015 as a receptionist. Shortly after her start here she became Legal Assistant to Attorney Ana Burkham, working with Social Security Disability clients. Alicia enjoys helping clients better understand their claims, and making them feel comfortable in the process of applying for disability. In her free time, Alicia likes to repurpose furniture, garden, and be outdoors with friends and family.
