Fallon Buchholz


Fallon Buchholz is a graduate from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Arts in English Studies and an Associates of General Studies with an emphasis on Business. Fallon began working at Sigman Janssen under Attorney James Pitz in July of 2023 as a legal writer. They are passionate about writing clear and accurate demands to help the clients with their personal injury claim.

In their free time, Fallon writes, directs, and manages an independent production of a web series. When they are not busy with that or work, Fallon enjoys reading, going to the gym, playing volleyball, karaoke, supporting the community, spending time with their loved ones, traveling, writing, and binging television shows.

Mercedes King


Mercedes King is a 2022 graduate of Kimberly High School and started working for Sigman Janssen in August 2023 to gain professional work experience and organization/communication skills. She enjoys supporting her colleagues by doing tasks around the office as needed, directing client calls, and ensuring clients are appropriately assisted when visiting the firm while maintaining a warm and welcoming environment. Mercedes aspires to go to school for graphic design. She works independently as a local artist outside the office, doing commissions when requested and building her personal artistic style.

In her free time, she enjoys working on art, hiking/running, spending time with family and friends, and learning new hobbies and skills.

Elle E. Teufel


Elle Teufel is a graduate from the University of Wisconsin- Madison with Bachelor’s Degrees in Legal Studies and Psychology. Elle began working at Sigman Janssen in August 2022, supporting Attorney James Pitz in Personal Injury. She is passionate about working with clients to understand their medical treatment and individual experiences in order to advocate for positive outcomes. She takes great pride in helping clients through her attention to detail and dedication to her work.

In her spare time Elle is passionate about her work in the Wisconsin Army National Guard as she enters her 7th year of service. She also enjoys spending time with her husband Max, listening to podcasts, cooking, baking, and collecting indoor plants.

Steph R. Millhouse


Steph Millhouse began working for Sigman Janssen in May 2022. She is a Legal Assistant to Attorney Ana Burkham, working with Social Security Disability clients. Steph enjoys assisting clients during the process of their claims and making them feel comfortable and supported. In her free time, Steph likes to go boating, play tennis, and enjoys spending time outdoors with friends and family.

Nicole M. Antoine


Education:

  • University of Wisconsin-Stout, B.S.

Nicole LaChance joined the firm in 2021, assisting all Social Security Disability, Worker’s Compensation, and Personal Injury practices. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with dual degrees in Vocational Rehabilitation and Criminal Justice. She then moved to Minneapolis to obtain her Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas School of Law in 2020.

Nicole enjoys working with clients in many aspects of their claims, from reviewing information at the beginning stages to formulating arguments for favorable decisions at the hearing level. It is important to Nicole that clients understand the process and feel heard and advocated for.

Outside of the office, Nicole enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and enjoying local sporting events.

Vanessa A. Kuhn


Vanessa was born in Wisconsin Rapids and is a former resident of the Stevens Point area. Vanessa moved to the Fox Valley in 2009 and chose to make it her home ever since. Vanessa started working for Sigman, Janssen, in February of 2020 under Attorney James Pitz in Personal Injury. Vanessa excels in customer service, providing empathy and understanding to clients as they face hardship and work through claims with our firm. Vanessa’s kind and caring demeanor reassure clients that they are in good hands from beginning to end of their process.

Vanessa loves spending time with her husband, children, and their dog, Honey. She enjoys attending sporting events and concerts and spending quality time with dear friends.

Sarah C. Jensen


Sarah Jensen joined Sigman Janssen in December 2004 after graduating with high honors from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College with her Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies. She also received an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice in May 2003.

Sarah works for Attorney Ana Burkham, assisting her in Social Security Disability claims. She takes great pride in helping clients through her enthusiasm and dedication to her work.

In Sarah’s free time, you will find her in the stands rooting on her daughter at softball and volleyball games or on the sidelines coaching youth cheerleading.

Laura Buchholz


Laura began working at the firm in June of 2001 as a legal assistant, after receiving an Associate Degree from Fox Valley Technical College. Since her employment with the firm, Laura has worked for Attorney Mark Sewall assisting in personal injury and worker’s compensation matters. Laura enjoys working with clients in the many aspects of their claims, from gathering information, reviewing medical records, preparing documents, and disbursing settlement funds. It is important to Laura that clients understand the process of their claims, and she is always willing to help with any questions they may have.

Rick Bellmore


Rick Bellmore joined Sigman, Janssen, Sewall, Pitz & Burkham in April 1998. A certified public accountant, he has five primary areas of responsibility in his role as the law firm’s operations manager: finance, personnel, insurance, building and grounds, and computer/network administration. In addition to his duties, he’s dedicated to helping our attorneys and staff with anything they need to provide our clients with the best possible service.
