Donnie Malchow is an Associate Attorney at Sigman, Janssen, Sewall, Pitz & Burkham. He grew up in the small town of Ripon, Wisconsin, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Performance from Ripon College and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin Law School. At law school, Donnie served as the Senior Articles Editor of the Wisconsin Law Review.
Donnie became an attorney because he enjoys helping injured persons navigate daunting administrative and legal bureaucracies. Having previous experience as a summer associate and law clerk, he has assisted legal professionals in trial preparation, discovery and advocacy. Donnie offers a unique perspective to worker’s compensation and personal injury litigation on both sides of the docket. His main areas of practice include worker’s compensation, Social Security Disability, and personal injury claims.
As an avid volunteer, Donnie uses his time to promote good causes and assist those in need of help. He was part of a pro bono program during law school advocating for marginalized veterans and those wrongfully denied unemployment benefits. He has also helped build local water systems in rural Panama. Donnie brings this type of dedication working with clients at Sigman Janssen.
When not in the office, Donnie likes composing music and playing music with others, playing chess, as well as doing yoga and calisthenics.
