During her undergraduate days at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, Katherine Canadeo had a business professor who also was a practicing attorney. Katherine knew she wanted an interesting and challenging career that would allow her to make a difference in people’s lives, and her professor’s experiences pushed her to forge her own path toward becoming an attorney.
In 2003, after receiving her Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, this Green Bay, Wisconsin, native followed her dream to Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she obtained her Juris Doctorate. While at Hamline, Katherine was a Dean’s List honoree and earned a CALI Award for receiving the highest grade in family law.
Katherine puts those high marks to use at Sigman, Janssen, Sewall, Pitz & Hodgkiss, where she devotes her time to family law cases—including divorce, legal separation, child custody, domestic abuse, and more. When working with her clients, she goes out of her way to make them feel comfortable and to keep a strong level of communication at all times.
Maintaining the high quality of her case work—along with tending to the demands of motherhood—can be difficult at times, but Katherine steps up to the challenge every day. A former cheerleader for the Green Bay Packers during college, Katherine enjoys staying active by traveling, being outdoors, and doing yoga. She also loves spending time with her husband and young daughter.
