Richard A. Stack, Jr.
Upon graduation from Marquette University Law School, Rick joined the law firm. He received his Juris Doctorate in June 1975.
While attending law school, Rick was selected to serve on the Editorial Board of the Marquette Law Review. The Law Review is a national legal publication often referenced by appellate courts in their decisions. Rick served as the Lead Article Editor.
Selection as an editor is reserved to the top 10% of the class who are invited to write in competition for a nomination to the Board of Editors. The Scribes Advocacy Award which recognizes outstanding writing ability on legal matters was awarded to Rick as determined by the law school faculty.
Rick maintained a general law practice during the early years of his career. His practice has since evolved into one which emphasizes commercial, corporate, business, real estate matters, estate planning and probate. These areas include buy/sell of business, corporate business transactions, financing transactions and representation of banks and commercial lenders, as well as corporation, limited liability company and individuals.
Rick currently and for many years has achieved an “A-V” rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the publisher of the definitive national and international legal digest. The “A” rating is the highest one can obtain for professional competence and the “V” rating is for having the highest ethical attributes. The rating is determined by confidential periodic survey of attorneys and judges in our area. The rating is continually reviewed to assure currency. Rick has held the highest rating for over 10 years.
