James P. Pitz
Jim was born and raised in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Jim attended and graduated from Oshkosh North High School with high honors. Jim went on to study at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree, cum laude, in 1990. Jim obtained his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School, cum laude, in 1993.
Jim lives in Appleton, Wisconsin, with his wife and three children. In his free time, Jim is involved with many youth sports organizations, donating his time coaching baseball, basketball, flag football, and soccer.
Jim began practicing law in Appleton, Wisconsin, with the Sigman, Janssen law firm in 1993, concentrating in personal injury and workers’ compensation claims for injured individuals. Jim was made a partner in the then 74-year-old law firm on January 1, 1999. Jim is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Wisconsin, Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers and the Outagamie County Bar Association.
Jim has successfully represented thousands of injured people throughout the State of Wisconsin, collecting in excess of twenty-five million dollars for the injured and their families. Jim’s loyalty is always with his individual clients and their families, and he never represents the insurance companies or the interests of the insurance companies.
Jim has represented injured individuals and their families in claims for injury and death arising out of motor vehicle accidents, motorcycle accidents, bicycle mishaps, trip/slip and fall incidents, premises liability claims, dog-bite claims, uninsured motorist accidents, underinsured motorist accidents, work-place injuries, food adulteration/poisoning, products liability, and disability claims. Jim always strives to provide his clients the best legal representation possible while fighting for a just and reasonable result on their behalf.
